We had heard of these, so asked Ingrid where we might find some. When we were in Reefton, we noticed that The Broadway Tearooms and Bakery had a large case of what looked like savory pies, custards, and other sweets in a large case. As it was after hours we decided to check it out the next morning.
Sure enough, that’s what they had and here’s what we choose. Very good.
I didn’t get a chance to show the strawberry custard – it was devoured too quickly! 😆
