Rose

A Queen Elizabeth rose, I believe. A sketch from yesterday as I pulled out my fude pen again. Rather fun.

I’m finding that Instagram hasn’t been fun lately.

Yesterday every third post was someone I was following and trying to see. 2 of the 3 were either an advertisement or a suggested real that had nothing to do with what I wanted to follow.

There has been a lot of talk about Instagram and the way it is headed.

I guess, what I don’t understand, is they have a niece market with Instagram as a photo platform. Originally, it was photos that were shared between friends and followers. Then they added some “movie” type capabilities. There is a market here.

What I don’t understand, is that they could choose to create something to compete with TickTok directly. Instead of creating something, they are trying to change something to fit a need that no one wants on this platform. I don’t see the folks on TickTok rushing over to Instagram because it is similar to TickTok. What I do see is folks on Instagram starting to look for another app that is similar to the way Instagram used to be.
