Fuzzy Caterpillar

While I was hatching the hair, I realized I haven’t seen any of these black and orange fuzzy caterpillars this year. I remember seeing them a lot as a kid. The old timers used to say we could judge the type of winter we were gong to have by how fuzzy the caterpillars were. Don’t know if that was true or not. But it was a fun piece of folk wisdom.
