Steve and Linda Dashew have been sailing and writing for over 40 years. After years sailing smaller catamarans, in 1975 they bought a 50′ CCA era mono-hull for a one-year cruise through the South Pacific. Plans have a way of changing. That one year sojourn became a circumnavigation. Along the way, a new boat was designed and built. Other yacht designs followed. Perhaps you are familiar with some of their design series: Deerfoot, Sundeer, Beowulf, and now the FPB.
As a thank you for the years of support, they are offering Mariner’s Weather Handbook, Surviving The Storm, Practical Seamanship, and Offshore Cruising Encyclopedia as FREE DOWNLOADABLE PDFs.
